Increasing Expertise as a Multi-Disciplinary Team Facilitator
Description:
As a Facilitator of your Multi-Disciplinary Team, it is important to create a climate of safety, understanding and learning in order to be a cohesive, effective Team for the children and families we serve. In this training, the process of case review as well as Adult Learning Theory will be discussed as it directly relates to the Facilitator’s role. Learners will increase their expertise on how to manage both time and energy within the group and gain an understanding of conflict management. Learners will benefit from practical applications to use right away to enhance the climate of the meetings and create a safe, effective, and cohesive team.
Objectives:
Gain an understanding of Adult Learning Theory and its application to the Multi-Disciplinary Team and Facilitator roles.
Understand how to support and strengthen the Multi-Disciplinary Team to increase positive outcomes for the children and families we serve.
